The Spoleto-Norcia railway is part of a recovery plan not completed yet; during past years, a lot of confusion and wrong communication has been created around it, to the detriment of all those who’d love bike-riding on its paths.
The Spoleto-Norcia… in MTB committee is the best updated source, due tp the fact that we ride those paths almost everyday!! So, for any info do not hesitate contacting us (mobile phone number 0039 320 2895750).
Nowadays, the railway is accessible on 34 km (of 51 km total); it was inaugurated last April 19th, 2014, at the presence of all the majors and the President of Umbria Region; unfortunately, the 34 km are not continuous, so sometimes you have to find alternative paths to go beyond possible closed gates…

2° SECTION: S. Anatolia di Narco – Borgo Cerreto
Accessible only from S.Anatolia di Narco Stazione till Piedipaterno Ponte sul Nera, from km 19 to km 23,3

3° SECTION: Borgo Cerreto – Serravalle
Accessible only between Borgo Cerreto Ponte sul Nera and Volpetti ex Casello, from km 30 to km 36,8.
